for high school, he served four years in
Naval Intelligence during the Korean Conflict.
Afterwards, he earned a BPS and MBA.
His career spanned 30 years with IBM
Corporation with assignments in Japan,
Hong Kong and South Africa. After retiring,
he worked as a consultant to U. S.
companies in Hong Kong, China, Korea and
the Czech Republic. He was an adjunct
instructor at Webber Intl. Univ. and was
conferred a Doctor of Business
Administration for his work there.
A Cabin on the Mountain
After being driven from tent camping by
mobile campers with gasoline generators,
the author bought seven acres atop a
mountain outside Gore, Virginia and built a
cabin. The property, once the hunting
grounds for the Shawnee Indians, was part
of a large land grant deeded to the Larrick
family by King George of England.
